My encounter with a Mugger Crocodile during our 'Chasing the Monsoon' expedition in South India. Our field guide took us a little closer than we had expected!

  6. Well it did feel a little too close but I have to admit that it was quite exciting to be so close to a very powerful animal. I would have preferred not to have disturbed the croc during its rest though.

  8. Thanks for the message. I use blogger.com. I created my own template and then tweaked the code and embedded lots of bits and pieces that I found elsewhere. It's not perfect but it'll do for my purposes.
